Music To Our Ears: Ed Sheeran, The Vamps & Frienship

Another year, more tunes! Thank goodness for music. Sometimes we need an escape from all that is currently happening…don’t we?! We can’t avoid the realities of life forever but no matter what our differences are we have music to keep us together. Not matter who you are, what you believe in, regardless of all this, one thing what will forever make foes friends is music. Let music unite, let it heal for music can and will bring us together.

Here are a few songs by artists I love that I am currently listening to.

Ed Sheeran

Castle on The Hill is definitely on repeat in the office. If you can tell, I have a very specific music taste. Although I like everything, I prefer music with a message and a story. I love a song that makes your feel all kinds of feelings and I am in my feelings due to this beautifully written song by Mr. Sheeran. In my opinion, it’s one of his best.

The Vamps

I hadn’t heard of The Vamps, a British pop rock band, until last week. I like their song All Night with Matoma so much I added it to my workout playlist. Of course, I looked them up and are they ever cute! Just saying, another boy band never gets old in my opinion. I will say I like the indie pop rock electro vibe they have going. I definitely see good things on the horizon for these gents. Cheers to another workout tune on repeat!

Frenship

Let me tell you something, I am on that Frenship vibe right now. Frenship is an American electronic duo that I am sure you will get more familiar with this year. I love discovering new music and new artists. This is the type of music you want to play on a road trip or during a long flight. It’s true that when you think of a song, there is a time and place that it takes you to. It’s safe to say that Frenship is on their way to becoming a member of your life’s musical soundtrack, good songs that take you to the place you always want to be. Now, that’s what I call good music.

I had to include two songs for you to listen to. I hope you like them as much as I do.

Good choice by my opinion. I must say that “Frenship” is one really pleasant surprise this year.
