Bright & Even Skin Tone: Wild Rose by KORRES

I can’t say enough good things about Korres, a natural skincare brand from Greece. I discovered this brand a few years ago at Sephora and instantly fell in love. It’s hard to find good natural skincare brands that have more than one product you actually like. I use a few different products from this brand, I mentioned that I use their SPF in my “Summer Skincare For Men” post. It’s for both men and women. It’s lightweight and not loaded with those bad toxins and chemicals normally found in most sun-care products.

A common skin concern for most people is scaring, hyper-pigmentation, age spots and an overall dull complexion. Dealing with these concerns can affect yourself esteem at times. Well, luckily you can do something about it. Remember, you have to be patient. Having good skin, even if you have a simple routine, involves a little bit of work. Your diet is a big factor and also drinking water. Prevention and treatment also go hand in hand with your overall skincare regimen.

Most brightening or scar/hyper-pigmentation targeted skincare products consist of Vitamin A, C and E. You may also find ingredients such as licorice root extract, stone crop and rosehip oil. You can get a prescribed Vitamin A from your doctor (retin A) but there are so many great products available (that work) therefore you don’t have to. Vitamin A creams work quite well but can cause a bit of irritation for some people.

For the last few weeks I have been using two products from Korres’ Wild Rose collection. It’s so good! Seriously, I read some reviews prior where a few people said they noticed results, or could see a difference the next day. Well, I felt the same way. I used the oil at night and the next morning I could see that it was already going to work, healing some eczema scars I have on my face from a reaction of sorts (who knows!). I was going to go to my dermatologist to get something strong and heavy-duty, but I don’t think I need to. It’s been only two weeks and I see a major difference. I have smooth skin and small pores so this has never been my concern, but hyper-pigmention is. It’s pretty annoying and it can take a while for those darker areas to fade. I don’t wear make-up generally because I like to let my skin breathe so I just have to let it be and deal with it. I don’t really care what people think anymore when it comes to my appearance; so no biggie! I hope you don’t either! I read that the Wild Rose products have the highest concentration of pure vitamin C in them, so you’re getting more of what you want ⇒Maximum Results!!

I love the smell, it smells like roses. Since I already use rose-water on my face, I didn’t mind the scent. If you’re not into floral scents or scents of any kind you may not like it. You can really smell the roses in fact there are dried rose petals in the bottle! In addition to the Wild Rose oil, I also tried the Wild Rose Targeted Tone Corrector. You can use it on your whole face but I just concentrate on specific areas. So far no issues and no irritation or breakouts. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to brighten and even out their skin. I am so obsessed with it that I place it at the back of my beauty cabinet, the idea of spilling a drop of oil makes me nervous. Why? Because it’s that good and also it’s not necessarily inexpensive. Granted a little bit goes a long way so a bottle should last you at least 6 or more months.

I also want to mention that this product line also targets other concerns such as fine lines and overall appearance of your skin. You will have a smooth and bright complexion in no time! Just give it time, most products require six to eight weeks, but you will most likely see gradual improvement sooner than that.
