Ask and you shall receive! I am glad that you are loving our bachelorette travel guide. Here is another edition of your favourite travel guide The Best Places For Bachelorette Party Bliss, next stop Montreal. So far our bachelorette guide has stopped in NOLA and Scottsdale Arizona, two of the top-ranked bachelorette and bachelor party destinations. As you know planning a bachelorette party can be quite stressful. Where to stay, what to do, what to eat, the list goes on and on. You want to make sure the bride is happy but let’s be honest, the bride tribe needs to enjoy the experience as well since a few of your friends may be using up a bit of their vacation time to celebrate your pending nuptials with you. Montreal is a beautiful and charming city to visit any time of the year. If you have never been I suggest you add it to your list of places to go in Canada. The architecture in Old Montreal is breathtaking and takes you back in time. Oh, I just love Montreal.

MONTREAL

Montreal is one of my favourite places to visit in Canada. It’s rich with culture, good food, and entertainment. It’s the perfect place for you and your girls to plan a blissful bachelorette weekend extravaganza. If you feel like adding an extra touch of adventure to your trip there travel by VIA Rail so you can take in gorgeous Canadian landscapes. As much as I like to fly, I really enjoy travelling to Montreal by train. Upgrade to business class when you arrive at the train terminal. VIA rails’ business class offers a great intimate experience that you will love. Of course, you cannot make a trip to Montreal without having poutine (you need to know what good poutine is supposed to taste like) and of course crepes at a little cafe in Old Montreal.

Where To Stay

W Hotel – 901 Square-Victoria, H2Z1R1 Montréal, Canada

The W Hotel is always a great place to stay in any city that it’s located and it’s one of my top choices when looking for hotels since I know I am guaranteed a great overall experience. I really enjoyed my stay a few years ago at the W Hotel Montreal nestled in the historic Banque du Canada building and just steps away from downtown attractions, restaurants, bars, and nightlife.  It’s also close to Old Montreal so felt it would be a great hotel for you and your bride tribe. The W Hotel Montreal offers a service called the Wherever/Whenever service where a team is there to provide you what you want when you want it! This allows you to spend more time exploring and having fun. Need reservations at a restaurant? Do you need someone to decorate the bride-to-be’s room? They’ve got you covered. Since, you will need a moment to recharge, stop by the AWAY SPA, their on-site luxe spa to get pampered for a few hours. While there don’t forget to stop by NOM NOM their in-house restaurant that serves mouth-watering cuisine by Executive Chef, Gregory Faye. Oh, I can’t forget their miniature bar, Bartini, the Smallest Bar in Montreal that serves a rare collection of unique Whiskeys.

Fairmont Queen Elizabeth – 900 Rene Levesque Boulevard Ouest, H3B 4A5 Montréal, Canada

The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, Montreal’s most iconic hotel and largest hotel in the city opened its door in 1958. Since its opening the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth has evolved into a lifestyle space with sleek modern decor that has a vintage feel to it. A wellness centre with a luxury spa and indoor pool provide a great space and atmosphere to spend time with your friends. You may want to take a group virtual pilates or yoga class as well. One of their newest additions is an urban market.

Hotel Monville Montreal – 1041 Rue De Bleury Montréal, Quebec

Hotel Monville a chic and trendy boutique hotel opened its doors in the summer of 2017. I chose this hotel because it’s centrally located to all the action and steps away from Old Montreal. You will instantly fall in love with the industrial contemporary decor. It’s not easy to find a nice hotel in Montreal with decent and affordable pricing. If you want to save money on accommodations but still stay in a great hotel with a nice atmosphere Hotel Monville is a great choice for you. The onsite restaurant serves up healthy grab-and-go meals which are perfect if you plan to eat in the park or the rooftop terrace that showcases Montreal views.

Where To Eat

Au Pied de Cochon – 536 Avenue Duluth E Montréal, QC

If you want to try a beyond ordinary and upscale poutine I think you should definitely stop by Au Pied De Cochon one of Montreal’s popular restaurants. Anthony Boudain can attest to the great menu of mouthwatering food by Chef Martin Picard, who he called “one of the most influential chefs in all of Canada.”  Au Pied De Cochon was featured on Bourdain’s show Parts Unknown where he states “it’s a meal unlike any I have ever had.”

Le Bremner – 361 Rue Saint Paul Est Montréal, QC

The Best Places For Bachelorette Party Bliss Montreal Le Bremner

Chef de Cuisine Danny Smiles & Executive Chef Chuck Hughes

Le Bremner, located in Old Montreal is another one of Chef Chuck Hughes’ culinary masterpieces. This restaurant is so coveted many people book well in advance. I suggest you make reservations at the very least a few weeks in advance if you are a large group. Don’t worry, there is nothing pretentious about this restaurant. Le Bremner is all about eating good food in a laid-back lively atmosphere.

Régine Café – 1840 Rue Beaubien E, Montréal, QC

Montreal Regine Cafe

Did someone say le brunch? We sure did if we are talking about Régine Café another busy and popular Montreal restaurant that thankfully serves brunch every day. The royal purple baroque chairs are an absolutely beautiful decor choice! Since it’s quite busy they do not accept reservations on weekends or for groups larger than 8 so get there before the rush. FYI, they make gluten-free waffles! Whoever said brunch every day would get old clearly hasn’t had the Régine Café experience.

Where To Drink

You won’t have a hard time finding a happening place to grab a drink. Take a stroll with your friends through Montreal and go from place to place. I thought it would be nice for you to explore rather than focus on certain places. Montreal has so many great places, in Old Montreal, you will feel the need to keep the festivities moving and not stay too long at just one place so you can see what’s happening next door. Here are a few notable bars to check out.

Pullman – 3424 Av du Parc, Montréal, QC

Yes, you’re not seeing things, it’s a stunning wine glass chandelier hanging from Pullman bar à vin’s ceiling. Pullman’s is an elegant wine bar that’s perfect for you and your bride tribe to indulge your taste buds with good food and wine. They also serve flights of wine, so you have an opportunity to experience a mini wine tasting.

Flyjin – 417 Rue St Pierre, Montréal, QC,

Montreal Flyjin

I was told by a Montreal resident that Flyjin is one of their favourite bars to go to when in Old Montreal. Since it’s highly recommended I had to include it. It’s a good place to go for pre-drinks. Be sure to try their popular cocktails the Zen Buddha or Kun Fu Pinappuru. Flyjin is a restaurant as well with a four-star dining experience of Japanese fare married well with Thai, Chinese, Korean and Viteanmanse flavours.

La Distillerie – 2047 Avenue du Mont-Royal Est, Montréal, QC

The Best Places For Bachelorette Party Bliss Montreal La Distillerie

La Distillerie – D3 La Petite Patrie

La Distillerie has not one, but three locations to choose from! I have never been here but hear that it’s a guaranteed good time at ALL three locations. You can pick the location closest to you or take a cab to one of the other locations. Guess what? You can bring your own food (BYOF)!!! Yes, that’s right bring your favourite snacks to complement their delicious cocktails. I used to imagine the possibility of this and now it’s a sweet reality. I love that their drink menu allows you to pick your flavour profile. Are you looking for a fresh, tropical, delicate, or powerful cocktail?
