Why You Need To Believe Again

Believing in God is believing in yourself. Believing in yourself is believing in God. Truth. You can’t have one without the other. Now, you don’t have to use the word God, you can say energy or the universe. I know the use of the word for some people is divisive so try to focus on the message and why you need to believe again. The world is your church. Your house is your sanctuary. The park is your place of meditation. To pray. To sit with yourself and connect.

I have never met a happy person who believes in nothing. I have met more people who wander around aimlessly, without love in their hearts and for themselves, who believe in nothing; not even themselves. When we don’t believe in ourselves we suffer. When we claim nothing exists beyond what we can see it’s hard to understand why we exist. Our purpose becomes aimless and meaningless. We struggle to love ourselves as much as others struggle to love us.

We seek the answers out there somewhere. When it’s closer than we think; within. Some of you hold your hands to the sky and pray for all the things your heart desires. Then wonder why things aren’t happening. Why me God? Why? The reasons why will never satisfy you. The complexity of the details, if there is indeed an answer to your question, will only impede you. The universe cannot serve you if you continue to look beyond. Your inability to believe in yourself halts the universe from doing its magic. Absolute belief is a flow of energy. Your lack of self-belief stops the flow of reception and conception.

Now I know what you are thinking, particularly during a time when bad things are happening to you or around the world. I understand why you question your faith or why you need to believe in anything at all. Each of us at some point in our lives will question our existence and whether or not faith is the driving force. We fail to see that while faith is still and calm it’s also rooted in action. Our thoughts are internal acts and these manifest into our reality.

Our thoughts dictate how we feel, how we see ourselves, our life and how we see ourselves in relation to others. If we cannot think of kind things about ourselves it’s quite difficult to think good things about other people. It is hard to behave in ways that are rooted in love. Not just in the way we treat ourselves but also how we treat each other.

So why do you need to believe again you ask? Well answer this question, how is not believing in anything at all working for you? Does your heart feel full or heavy? Are you happy? Are you content? Whether you live in the large house on the hill filled with fine things or in a Shantytown somewhere in Africa what you believe and how you move in the world lives within you. Are you the miserable person in the house or the joyful person right now where you are. Now more than ever, we are called to look at ourselves closely.

We are called to look at the way we treat ourselves, how we treat each other. The reality is the collective consciousness is weak due to our selfish ways and beliefs and actions that are only meant to serve one person, yourself. We cannot heal as a collective if we do not do the work and start with ourselves. If you are reading this, you are probably more fortunate than you realize. There is A LOT of gratitude missing within you. It’s time to learn how to say thank you again. Practicing the art of gratitude leads to the restoration of faith.

I see better days for you, I see better days for the collective. What I see is rooted in faith and the joy of belief. It’s time for you to start believing again.
