Finally, another bachelorette travel guide. A lot of people liked the NOLA, Scottsdale, and Montreal recommendations. There are still so many places for me to feature. I know there are a few places you have in mind, and you are wondering why I have not mentioned them yet. Well, here we are, we are in Nashville, Tennessee, Music City, a southern state that I absolutely love. In fact, my first trip to Nashville was for a bachelorette! I fell in love with this gem of a place immediately. Southern hospitality is alive and well here. It’s the perfect combination of a city and a town. It definitely tops my list of places to go if you are looking for a place to go for your bachelorette or bachelor party. Honestly, it is the perfect place to go for a weekend getaway as well, even for couples.

NASHVILLE

Nashville has become one of the top destinations to visit in the US. Stroll up the bustling streets of Broadway and you will bump into people from all over the world who share a love for country music. Country music does a great job of bringing people together. The energy in this city and the music is intoxicating. Add a few bourbons and you will dance like no one is watching. I don’t think I have ever met anyone who has visited Nashville and said they hated it! Don’t worry, you can also slow down and take it easy in Nashville. I know some people don’t like a constant party. You can get a good mix of let’s get the party started and country ease and sensibility. What you will love the most is the live music. The artists in Nashville are exceptional. Nothing but pure heart and talent. Definitely a place for dreamers and believers, a place where anything can happen. Who knows, if you are single and traveling with friends, you just might meet the love of your life in this tourist hotspot. The places I am featuring are places I have been to, but don’t worry, I will feature more Nashville hot spots in the coming months.

Where To Stay

Locale – 805 Division St.

This is my go-to place for short-term stays. I love staying in a hotel, but sometimes you need a place where you can cook your own food or make a smoothie. A home away from home, that you can temporarily make your own. Locale has many locations in the US. When I visit Nashville I stay at one of their locations in The Gulch, an upscale robust neighborhood. I like this area because it is walkable. Basically, everything you need is in one area from local markets, retail boutiques, fitness studios, cafes, bars, and restaurants. I am the type of person who likes to keep their routine when they travel. Yes, I am having a smoothie bowl and a protein shake. I also don’t skip the gym. The main benefit of staying with Locale is that each apartment comes with what you would need if you stayed at an Air BnB, the difference is the concierge experience. The spaces are beautifully furnished and stocked with linens, coffee, tea, and dishes. Each unit also has a laundry machine so you can throw in a load of laundry and travel home with your clothing clean. Locale is a perfect option for bachelor or bachelorette groups who would like to stay together. It is also walking distance from Broadway or quick Uber.

Locale 805 Division St. apartment highlights: Bathroom essentials, Bedroom comforts, Fully-equipped kitchen, Premium coffee & tea, and High-speed WiFi. Smart TV, In-unit laundry, On-site parking, Fitness center, and Rooftop pool

W Hotel – 300 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203,

I have stayed at the W Hotel in Montreal and Los Angeles. I featured the W Hotel Montreal and Scottsdale locations in the bachelor and bachelorette bliss guide. Furthermore, I enjoyed the Montreal location, but the Nashville location is my favorite one by far. It is located in the Gulch. What you will like about this hotel is that it is situated in a walkable neighborhood with popular shops, bars, restaurants, and a Turnip Truck Market across the street. It is also within walking distance from the Thompson Hotel, Nashville; I also featured this hotel (Read my review). The hotel has quite a lot of options to keep you entertained. Start your morning with a CBD-infused latte at the Barista Parlour. Enjoy delicious meals at Carne Mare and The Dutch or take in sunset views at the sunset bar, also a great place to spend the day by the pool. You also are just steps away from Proof an upscale rooftop bar. The people who work at the W Hotel Nashville are delightful; true Southern hospitality.

W Hotel Nashville – Great room for you and your friends to share!

The Proof rooftop bar – breathtaking views!

Graduate Nashville – 101 20th Ave N Nashville, TN 37203

Honestly, if the Graduate Hotel does not give you bachelorette bliss vibes, I am not sure what to tell you! This hotel is a great choice for many occasions, but it is perfect for a bachelorette party. It is definitely Elle Woods-approved, and for those who love pink, you will feel like you have stepped into a pink Victorian dollhouse with a Southern sensibility. It is modern, traditional, and cozy yet glamorous. The Graduate is located in midtown, a popular area close to Vanderbilt University and stadium. While you are in the area, go to a much-loved bar, Losers Most Wanted Bar & Grill, for some great live music and a chance to listen to up-and-coming artists. And who knows, you may get an impromptu performance by one of your favorite country artists.

Beautiful room at The Graduate Hotel Nashville

Bachelorette bliss at this perfectly pink lounge and bar.

Where To Eat

Milk & Honey – 214 11th Ave S, Nashville, TN

There is a reason why there is a long line up at Milk & Honey – it’s simply great! There are a lot of great options from sweet and savory. The Lavender and Honey Latte is divine. It is the right amount of lavender and honey. I opt for a decaf when I order it. My usual order is the Turkey and Avocado sandwich on a croissant instead of sourdough bread (which is probably great too). The home fries are delicious, so I get this with my order as well. The Caesar salad is another one of my go-to orders, I add grilled chicken and avocado to mine. For my gluten-free friends (yes, I know I will not give up croissants ever!), try the Lemon Poppy Seed muffin it’s a yummy sweet treat!.

E + Rose – 1201 Demonbreun St Suite 110, Nashville, TN (The Gulch)

I absolutely love E+Rose. What can I say, your girl likes to keep it healthy. A smoothie bowl or protein shake is how I like to start my day, even during a fun filled bachelorette weekend. E+ Rose has a few locations in Nashville, so it shouldn’t be hard to find one close by. Their website lists all the locations in Nashville. You can also order it on Uber Eats and have it delivered to you! My go-to order: The Nomad smoothie, I substitute the peanut better for almond butter instead. I love the Banana Butter smoothie, I leave out the peanut butter and add cacao powder, collagen, maca and protein powder. The Dark Magic smoothie is also another favorite, I add avocado to it along with the above listed additions. Lastly, I will buy the Pineapple Express Juice to sip on throughout the day.

Urban Grub – 2506 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN

The Urban Grub is located on 12 South, a cute strip in Nashville where you will find restaurants, bars, cafés, clothing boutiques and gift stores. While you are in the area, before or after dinner or brunch stop by Gorjana, White’s Mercantile, and Emerson Grace if you would like to buy something special. Urban Grub is known from its fresh, fine aged meats and fresh seafood. If you live in the Nashville area, you can order meat from their in onsite butcher shop. I have tried the 7oz Certified Angus filet paired with one of their sides. Their menu does change, but if the brussels sprouts are on the menu try them, so good! The Muchos Chocolates is a decadent, noteworthy dessert. It is gluten-free and delicious, perfect to share with you and a few friends.

Where To Drink

Old Glory – 1200 Villa Pl UNIT 103, Nashville, TN

The Old Glory a hidden gem in Edgehill Village, that was once the largest steam cleaning facility in Nashville, is one of those places that isn’t easy to spot since there is no entrance sign. Look for the golden triangle off the Edgehill Avenue entrance. I stopped by here on a Friday last December for drinks. Overall it was a great experience, the music, the ambiance, the atmosphere and the company :). What I like about this place is that it’s not what you would expect after a day strolling up and down Broadway. Edgehill Village features popular shops like Ralph Lauren, Alton Lane, and Aesop. I didn’t feature it here, but Sadie’s is another great restaurant, and it is in the area. So you can grab a bite to eat at this Mediterranean inspired restaurant and then walk to Old Glory dance the night away and sip on specialty cocktails.

Earnest Bar & Hideaway – 438 Houston St #160, Nashville, TN

Eat and drink here! It’s a great place overall. If you and your girls love a good brunch spot with great ambiance and food, then definitely book a table here. Earnest Bar & Hideaway is a great spot for you if you want something away from the high energy on Broadway, but it is still a great time. It gives you another view of Nashville and what everyone loves about Southern hospitality.

The Patterson House – 1711 Division St, Nashville, TN

The Patterson House is an absolute gem. I went here on a date last December, it was great! I think it is a great spot for you and your friends to imbibe in some great cocktails. It has a speakeasy feel to it, which is quite nice. I like that it’s not easy to find as well, those who know! We actually got the recommendation to go here from someone at another place we went to earlier in the evening. For you and your friends, this is a great place to start the night. There is a bit of a wait, so arrive early, so you can get a seat if you have a large group.

What To Do

Broadway

My first time visiting Nashville was in 2018. We landed at 11am and by 12pm we were strolling down Broadway. Of course, it was a Bachelorette. I immediately fell in love with this southern city. I wondered why I had never visited before, although I wanted to. Broadway is a good fist-stop when visiting Nashville for those looking for some fun, live music, dancing and a damn good time! You can go from bar to bar, stop by a restaurant, a do some shopping at a boutique. It’s a lively experience that is unforgettable.

Notable Bars: Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, Honky Tonk Central, Tin Roof, Tequila Cowboy, The Valentine, Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar, Tootsies Orchid Lounge, and AJ’s Good Time Bar.

Notable Shopping: Tecovas, The Normal Brand, The Nash Collection, Molly Green, Hollie Ray, and REVV.

Grand Ole Opry – 2804 Opryland Dr, Nashville, TN,

If you love country music, then definitely purchase tickets to the Grand Ole Opry to watch country musics best country artists perform. To see a show at The Grand Ole Opry: SEE THE SHOW.

Wine Tasting – Arrington Vineyards – 6211 Patton Rd, Arrington, TN

I wrote an editorial for the Grapevine Magazine last year called “The Sweet Vines of Tennessee”. I featured Arrington Vineyards. Although I have not had the chance to visit this breathtaking winery, it is on my list the next time I visit Nashville, I feel it is worth showcasing. This winery is owned by country music icon Kix Brooks, entrepreneur John Russell and pro-vintner Kip Summer. Enjoy some great wine while you listen to music at the Music in the Vines venue onsite. Don’t forget to indulge in a glass of the 2020 Honeysuckle, a dessert wine that is a blend of Riesling and Gewurztraminer grapes.
