Whether you are going through the highest of highs or the lowest of lows on this rollercoaster called life, music always seems to get you through it. Think of all the amazing songs over the years that make up the soundtrack of your life. The musicians who write a song that speaks to you and makes you think they wrote it about you. I am sure during this pandemic you have compiled a giant playlist of music. Music that will remind you of this time in your life, the music that helped you get through it. Add these to your soundtrack, new music: Najuah and The Talbott Brothers.

You may notice as I begin to share more music on The Muse that I have decided to include recent releases and old releases (not the same year as the release) because I feel music is timeless and shouldn’t live in the confines of one year or a decade or what someone deems is new or old or worth listening to. I think this will give you an opportunity to discover new music in an authentic way. The discovery, when it occurs for you is what makes it new. This is your life, you decide what belongs on your soundtrack.

I thought it would be great to include The Talbott Brothers because they are indeed siblings like Najuah. This new music edition is a family affair!

NAJUAH She Kept On Running

As you know, I am one half of the girl-duo Najuah. When they say love what you do, they also mean share it. I believe we make great music. I am excited to share with you our newest release “She Kept On Running” from our new album due in 2021 Country Minor. This is an album we have been holding close to our hearts for the right time. Now more than ever, it’s important to understand that time doesn’t belong to us. When I woke up one night, in the middle of the night, I looked at my vision board and this is what came to me. That is the time to put this baby out into the world and see where it lands. Whether big or small it’s time. Maybe it’s time for you to put your magic out into the world and see what wonderment you can actualize.

THE TALBOTT BROTHERS Ghost Talker

I stumbled upon The Talbott Brothers two months ago and since then it’s been continuously playing on my daily playlist. What draws me to their music, whether intended or unintended is the deep connection to spirituality. Their music moves you to the core with feelings of deep joy or at times sorrow and longing. Their album, Ghost Talker does what music is meant to do, move you, inspire you, and transform you. Each lyric and melody is perfectly placed to create a space within your being. This is a must on your playlist. The Talbott Brothers released “Acoustic Selections From Ghost Talker” this year.

Notable Songs: Dancing In The Dark, Run No More, One Day Soon, and Wired.
