Essential Men’s Fall Fragrance: Creed ‘Aventus’

By now you are aware that I have a deep love for a man who smells good. The scent of a man, it’s something that stays with you, particularly if it’s good, it remains unforgettable. Most men don’t realize this, but the thought of the way you smell is everything to a woman. So take pride in this and most importantly be selective when looking for the right scent. Not every scent is made for everyone…so I thought. Until I took a deep breath in of Creed ‘Aventus’. I am serious, it’s that good. It’s alluring yet subtle. It’s strong but at the same time gentle. We will have to thank master perfumer Oliver Creed and his son Erwin for creating such a timeless scent in 2010. Normally when it comes to scents, what smells good on you may not smell good on someone else. Well, this far exceeds the exception to the rule. This is the rule, as in should you ever you feel the need to splurge on something timeless,  pick up this fragrance. Just one spray is more than enough to carry you through the day and into the night. Sigh, maybe I should get it for myself?!

With sweet gentle notes of Corsican Blackcurrant, Italian Bergamot, French Calville Blanc Apples and Royal Pineapple seducing your senses.  Along with base notes of Spanish Oak Moss, Ambergris and French Vanilla masterfully blended with middle notes of Napoleon Roses, Louisiana Birch, Egyptian Jasmine, and Patchouli. One can understand why fans of this scent ignore the price when it comes to purchasing it. I will tell you, something this good doesn’t come cheap. But, let’s face it, it’s high quality and made by Creed, a family-owned luxury fragrance dynasty who has been scent masters for over 250 years.

If you are skeptical (which you shouldn’t be because I have good taste), you can go and test it out for yourself. I have read reviews of people driving an hour away just to purchase a bottle. I guess, as they say, the proof is in the scent.
