Green Luxe: MyChelle Fall & Winter Skincare Routine

If you have been following along, you will remember that I featured MyChelle’s Refining Sugar Cleanser on the site. I love this stuff so much I also use it in the shower as a body scrub! A few of you tried it and loved it and wanted to know what other skincare products I would recommend from MyChelle’s product range. Since it’s time to change things up and get your skin ready for colder months, I thought I would showcase a few of my favourite MyChelle products that will nourish your skin all fall and winter.

As you know, your skin is your largest organ. So paying attention to what happens with your skin is very important. Your skin is a good indicator of your health. Keeping your skin beautiful requires awareness. I am sure you have noticed, now that it’s not as humid and hot out that your skin is drier, perhaps flakey and for some breaking out. It’s important to exfoliate as the weather transitions from hot to cold. You want to get rid of the dead skin and nourish your skin with products that are meant to protect and treat your skin as it gets colder.

MyChelle Fall and Winter Skincare Routine:

If you are looking for a natural Retinol alternative this is a great option. For those who don’t know retinol is used to treat acne, fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and discoloration. It’s great for those who are looking to brighten and improve the appearance of their skin.

Why Is It So Good?

  • Contains a potent form of vitamin A, therefore it’s quite effective.
  • Treats age spots, dark spots from acne and discoloration.
  • Renews skin with Ceramide 3 and Orange Plant Stem Cells
  • A few of my favourite rock star ingredients: Sunflower Seed Oil, Lavender Oil, Aloe Leaf Juice Powder, Honeysuckle Flower Extract and CloudBerry Seed Oil. I like to look for products that contain essential oils and extracts that I use on their own or mixed with a carrier oil such as almond oil.

This is a great cream moisturizer that pretty much combats most of your skincare concerns. It is loaded with nourishing ingredients and I am just in love with it!

Why Is It So Good?

  • Reduces the appearance of wrinkles
  • Tones and brightens complexion
  • Contains 4 powerful anti-aging peptides: Matrixyl® Synthe’6™, Syn-Coll®, AC DermaPeptide Revitalizing PF, and Proteasyl® TP Pea Peptide
  • Great essential oils and extracts in this product: Green Tea Extract, Rose Hip Oil, Black Currant Seed Oil, Jojoba Oil, Orange Flower Oil, Jasmine Oil and much more! If you are an essential oils/extracts lover you will find a lot of your favourites in this cream.

I hope you know that you apply your eye cream last. In addition, the cream/lotion you use on your face shouldn’t be used on the skin around your eyes. The skin around your eyes is quite delicate therefore it’s important to use products that are gentle and nourishing.

Why Is It So Good?

  • Contains: Mango Seed Butter (I love!), Hyaluronic Acid (great for anti-aging), Shea Butter, Sunflower Seed Oil (I always buy a big bottle of this stuff), Orange Flower Oil, Bilberry, Gotu Kola, and Cucumber Extracts,Witch Hazel (heals, soothes and tones), Green Tea Extract,  Edelweiss Plant Stem Cells and Rose Hip Seed Oil just to name a few!,
  • Hydrates and nourishes.
  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
