Why You Will Love The Ocean-To-Ocean Collection

It’s that time of year again where you are either shopping for the school year or taking advantage of the end of season sales (this is the best time of the year to get summer anything! You can wear it during your vacation). Whenever I shop, I think about where the money I spend is going other than the obvious. How can I make this purchase count? I think this is something we should all think about. It’s good to support brands that do their best to give back. I know it’s not always perfect but it’s good to see efforts made to preserve and protect our environment, marine-life, and wildlife.

I am so excited about the Ocean-to-Ocean Collection available at Simons (in Canada). You will love the graphic tees, dresses, and sweaters adorned with playful marine messages and graphics. For each item sold, $8 will be donated to marine life causes: $4 to the Group for Research and Education on Marine Mammals in Quebec and $4 to the Marine Mammal Research Program in British Columbia.

Did you know that Simons symbolically adopted a beluga from the St. Lawrence River named Artsea and an orca from the Pacific Ocean named Hope?  Simon’s efforts have helped to advance research. I think this is amazing! I remember in elementary school my class and I adopted humpbacks whales. Anything we can do to support our marine life is something I support 100%.

The collection ranges from $29 – $50.
