I am glad so many of you liked the first Ultimate Bachelorette Party Guide. A lot of ladies want to go somewhere for their bachelorette party. No offence to Vegas, but there’s more than Vegas! We want a mix of fun, relaxation and good food. We want to get pampered and the dance the night away. We also want to go somewhere with a good vibe. I hope you got to read about what a great time New Orleans could be for you and your Bride Tribe. Our next stop: Scottsdale Arizona

SCOTTSDALE ARIZONA

If you are searching online for places to go for your pending bachelorette you will notice that Scottsdale, Arizona is one of the top places to go. I have always wanted to go to Arizona, who knows maybe I will go to Scottsdale for my bachelorette?! I thought I would help you narrow down your list on what to do so you can spend more time having fun. Scottsdale aka “The West’s Most Western Town” is a popular destination for spring break, golf (maybe you and the girls want to hit the green?), outdoor activities, festivals, concerts and live events.

You can lounge by the pool, party by the pool, go to the spa, go to the Grand Canyon, explore art galleries, eat great food, drink whiskey, dance the night away to your favourite country tunes or take in desert nights on the best patios in Scottsdale. Your bachelorette in Scottsdale will unforgettable.

Where To Stay

W Scottsdale – 7277 East Camelback Road (Old Town)

I have stayed at the W Hotel in New York and Montreal. I knew this would be a great choice because the W Hotel is one of those places where something is always happening. This hotel is a destination in and of itself. You and your girls can enjoy cocktails at Wet Deck which has been dubbed as one of the “best pools in Scottsdale”. Since it’s located downtown, in the heart of the Entertainment District you are in walking distance to shops, restaurants, galleries and nightlife activities. You may not want to leave the hotel for the ultimate nightlife experience since three of the Scottsdale’s liveliest nightlife destinations are located at the W Scottsdale. You will enjoy sipping cocktails at the Living Room Lounge & Bar while listening to live music by local artists to get the night started. You can venture out and explore the Entertainment District or opt to stay on location and go to Shade Lounge & Bar with a stunning Mediterranean setting and good music. I can’t forget to mention one of my favourite spas, Bliss Spa. All products at the W Hotel are by Bliss. Sushi Roku, one of Scottsdale’s beloved sushi restaurants is located at the hotel as well.

The Saguaro – 4000 North Drinkwater Blvd (Old Town)

The Saguaro is a gorgeous tropical desert oasis themed hotel. It’s simply beautiful. Definitely, a hotel that the girly girl in you will love. It’s located right in the heart of Scottdale’s Old Town where the best shopping, dining, and 14 art galleries are steps away. Who wouldn’t love this? If you are traveling with a big group, convenience is key. While a few of your friends’ shop, others may decide to tour galleries. While you stay at The Saguaro you have to choice of two pools. Are you looking for some fun in the sun or would you prefer to relax? The choice is yours! If you arrive on Thursday you might want to try paddleboard yoga at Picante, one of their pools. For in-house dining stop by Saguaro Restaurant or The Vault Coffee & Juice Bar for breakfast and delicious fresh juices and smoothies. Ask the front desk about Scottsdale’s golf carts to help you get around (for those who aren’t into too much walking). The Saguaro offers a Bachelorette Package.

Airbnb – located in Old Town 5 Star Resort Quality

If you are travelling with a big group, an Airbnb is a good option. A lot of people book an Airbnb for their Bachelorette or Bachelor party when visiting Scottsdale. A private pool for you and your friends. You can cook up some amazing meals as well. It’s a great way to make your bachelorette party an intimate affair. There are lots of rooms and enough bathrooms for everyone! Below is one of my top picks. It’s a 5 bedroom/3.5 bath newly renovated home that is within walking distance to galleries, shops, nightlife, and dining. You can also find this property on Good Night Stay.

Where To Eat

Rehab Burger Therapy – 7210 E 2nd St

Rehab Burger Therapy

Look at the vibrant decor! I just love it! Great food, drinks, and vibes

It’s a high probability that you and your girls will be looking for hangover remedies. You might as well know where you can go as soon as you get to Scottsdale. A good burger, it always does the trick. Rehab Burger Therapy (RBT) is considered on of the best burger joints in Scottsdale. I can only imagine what the PBJ & Bacon burger tastes like or Ghost Burger (you may feel like one at some point during the weekend) and the Hangover Burger (we know you will try this one for sure!). Don’t fret if you don’t want a burger, RBT has a large menu to cure any hangover on any given day. Maybe you are more into Fresh Shrubs (salad obviously), Wing-in-Things, Pastabilities or Party Starters (why stop now right?!). RBT also serves cocktails and has a tequila menu.

Cafe Monarch – 6934 E 1st Ave

Cafe Monarch Scottsdale Arizona

If you are looking for one of the best brunch experiences with your bride tribe, stop by Cafe Monarch. The patio is in high demand so call ahead before you arrive if you would like to sit there. All dishes served at Cafe Monarch are made with only locally sourced seasonal ingredients. Chef Gus Lewkowicz alters the menu every week. If you are lucky you will get to try a menu favourite by many, the French Toast.

FnB –  7125 E. 5th Ave. Suite 31

FnB Scottsdale Arizona

FnB Scottsdale Arizona. The menu is always changing. You will have to stop by to see what’s currently being served!

FnB is a must when in Scottsdale. According to Food & Wine Magazine FnB is the â€śthe epicenter of creative Arizona cuisine”. There isn’t a ‘best restaurant’ list that FnB isn’t on! FnB serves up seasonal menus where they showcase locally sourced ingredients. Front of House Manager and Beverage Director Pavle Milic selects all the wines served at FnB that are often switched to compliment menu changes. You can sip on local wines or out-of-state wines.Chef Charleen Badman’s dishes are works of art that taste just as good as they look. FnB is the perfect place to plan a nice dinner with your bride tribe.

Where To Drink

The W Scottsdale is considered on of the best places to go for a night out in Scottsdale. If you decide to stay there you may want to check out a few bars in the Entertainment District as well. Don’t worry about sore feet either, you can take The Downtown Trolly (it’s free!!) to the main strip where bars and restaurants are located. It also runs in the downtown area.

The Beverly – 7018 E. Main Street.

The Beverly Scottsdale

If you are looking for an upscale lounge experience, The Beverly is the perfect place to either get the night started. Comfort food and delicious cocktails compliment the sophisticated vintage inspired decor. The Beverly is rustic, luxe and cool.

Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row –  4420 N Saddlebag Trail

Dierks Bentley Whiskey Row

Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row

I love Nashville. I love the vibe. It’s a great place for a bachelorette party! I wanted to find a place in Scottsdale that had a similar vibe to Nashville. Of course, Dierks Bentley’s Whisky Row is the best place to go for a killer whiskey and that live country music atmosphere. You may go back for another round after one night there. Whiskey Row definitely didn’t disappoint in Nashville so I know it will be a guaranteed good time in Scottsdale.

Wasted Grain – 7295 E Stetson Dr

Some of you want to dance, some of you want to see live music and others want to hit a bar that’s laid back and cool. Well, Wasted Grain will keep your entire bride tribe happy all night long. There’s no cover or dress code, just good fun!

What To Do

You can’t go to Arizona and not take a road trip to the Grand Canyon or drive up Route 66 and see old gas stations and general stores. A bachelorette is about having fun but it’s also about creating an experience that you won’t forget.

Arizona Canyon – Something you can’t miss.

Sanctuary Spa – 5700 East McDonald Drive

Sanctuary Spa Pool

Sanctuary Spa Pool (via Sanctuary On Camelback)

You can’t go to Arizona without spending at least (at the very least) a few hours at the spa. Arizona is known for great spas where you can detox and rejuvenate. After a night out, some rest and relaxation might be in order. Sanctuary Spa is the perfect place for you and your friends to get specialized treatments to cater to everyone’s needs. An Aquatic Massage or Soul connect treatment might be just what the doctor ordered (or hangover). You can also explore Camel Moutain before your spa day as well. It’s a great place with beautiful trails.

Desert Botanical Gardens – 1201 N. Galvin Parkway (Phoenix, AZ)

Desert Botanical Gardens

Desert Botanical Gardens

Another great way to take in the beautiful Arizona landscape is at Desert Botanical Gardens. You and your friends can book a Taste of the Southwest Cooking Demo or Afternoon Tea in the Garden. Take a look at their website to see more activities. The late night Flashlight tours are quite popular as well.

See you soon for our next bachelorette destination. Let me know if there’s a place you would like me to feature.
