Everyone wants thick eyebrows and lashes these days. The days of over tweezing your brows are simply over. I have never been a fan of this trend, thankfully. My brows are pretty thick but during allergy season get a little patchy for some reason. If your brows are thin due to over tweezing and waxing and your lashes are a bit sparse, you might want to give Plume a try. Plume is an eyebrow and eyelash enhancing serum that was created by Lauren Bilon after suffering hair and eyelash loss after the birth of her first child. Bilon went on a hunt to find something to help her grow her eyelashes back. She couldn’t find a product that worked or didn’t result in unwanted side effects. From this experience and with the help of Irene Schnell, a certified Master in Fragrance & Cosmetics Science (EFCM), Bilon was determined to formulate the best brow and lash enhancing natural alternative.
It’s also great for those who have suffered temporary hair loss on their brows or lashes after childbirth, stress or an illness that causes temporary hair fall. Maybe you are like me and experience temporary shed during allergy season.
I have been using Plume for the last few months. I have to tell you that I am in love with this product. People keep asking me what I am using on my brows. Is it a brow powder? Liner? It’s the magic of Plume that has given my brows a healthy look. Guess what? No patchy brows during allergy season. I thought it was time for me to share with Y’all. I like to test products out for a while before I feature them on the site. In my case no rash or irritation. The application is easy. It’s not messy or sticky, in fact, it’s quite moisturizing.
I am so happy that there’s a natural alternative that actually works, at least it has for me. A little bit goes a long way so don’t go overboard with the application of this product.
Why Is It So Good?
- Keeps hair follicles in a prolonged growth phase, allowing lashes and brows to achieve greater length.
- Locks in keratin, moisture, and key nutrients to increase hair volume, thickening and strengthening lashes and brows at the root
- Protects delicate hairs from environmental harm and breakage to keep more lash and brow hairs in place.
- Notable Ingredients: Aloe Vera ( healing, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties); Organic Castor Oil (omega fatty acids, vitamin E, and proteins); Vitamin E; Honey Extract (anti-irritant) and Watercress & Indian Cress (help produce keratin).
Brow Tip: One of the things I do, and I know a lot of people neglect their brow area, I exfoliate my brows once a week to get rid of dead skin patches.
