Coconut Smoothie Bowl

I have a smoothie every morning. Lately, I have been changing things up with a smoothie bowl. I love making smoothie bowls because you can add so many great toppings. I am not a fan of certain fruits blended into my smoothie but I don’t mind them as a topping on my smoothie bowl.

I love the new coconut flavoured protein added to Genuine Health’s Fermented Vegan Protein! Just in time for summer.

Here is a great recipe using this new flavour. I hope you get to try it and like it as much as I do.


 

Coconut Smoothie Bowl
 
Recipe type: Breakfast
Cuisine: VeganCoconut smoothie bowl
Ingredients
  • 1 banana
  • 2 stalks celery
  • Handful fresh spinach
  • Thumb size ginger root
  • 1 apple
  • 1 scoop fermented vegan protein, coconut flavour
  • 1 scoop greens+O plain
  • ½ avocado
  • Nut milk to desired consistency
Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into a blender.
  2. Give a whirl until smooth and creamy.
Notes
Top with your choice of fresh fruit. I used banana, strawberries and
raspberries. For the crunch, I added granola, cashews and toasted coconut
flakes.
