Ankle boots made for winter

I have an obsession with black ankle boots. Every year during this time (fall/winter) I look for a new versatile pair of black ankle boots to add to my collection. I talking about the kind of ankle boot that you can dress up or dress down. I also prefer a boot with a lot of durability. This is Canada after all and you need footwear that looks stylish yet strong enough to handle this harsh climate. I am happy to announce my latest addition. They are from BCBG. What I like about them is that are made with insulation! Ugh!…I know right!! Ice block toes in heels is no joke! You spend more time trying to warm your feet up than you do having a good time. This is the last thing you want to worry about when you are wearing 4 to 5 inch heels. It’s all about picking your battles right?!

Another bonus: they have rubber soles…not kidding! I couldn’t be happier with these. They have a bit of a biker edge to them which I like. Of course, one pair is never enough, so don’t be surprised if I find another pair to add to my collection of ankle boots. This is my favourite shoe indulgence during the colder months. I will keep you posted if I find another must have winter bootie.
